Jazz and More Ticket Update

Jazz and More tickets, which were to go on sale on March 16th will now go on sale on Monday, March 30th.

As a result of Midland Public Schools’ temporary suspension of all school events where public participation is involved, the Jazz and More committee has decided to delay the start of ticket sales to the Jazz and More event.  This two week period will allow us to collect more information on the spread of Clovid-19 and make a better determination as to whether the event will occur.

Our hope is that we can hear Dow High’s amazing musicians play and sing on May 15th.

We will post updates on the Music Booster website and through e-mail.
Please contact Doug Wright at doug.wright2014@gmail.com with any questions.

Thank you for your understanding.

October 2019 Updates

Music Group Composite Pictures
Have you seen the awesome composite photos of our music groups in the DHS hallway? We are in need of a volunteer to coordinate these photos of the students in their respective music uniforms to create this year’s composite pictures. This person will communicate with Schaffert Studios to set dates (ideally in late November) and be at school to assist the classes with the process on those days. Contact Amanda Thoms at thomsam@midlandps.org or Jen Pisarczyk at jenpisar@gmail.com for more information.

Marching Band Showcase
A few volunteers are still needed for Marching Band Showcase on Wednesday, Oct 16! Our volunteers make this outstanding evening of music possible! Please see the sign up here if you haven’t done so already: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4dabaa2babfa7-help8
