For those who do not wish to attend in person, you may connect via Zoom. Please click here for complete Zoom link information.
The Dow High turf team has raised over $1.5M, making the dream of a turf field very close to becoming a reality. The final stage of the project, which will include lights so the field can be used at night, will require an additional $70,000.
This first class video, put together by Dow High student, Maddy Estes, is a testament to the amazing athletes, coaches, musicians and traditions that have been a part of Dow High School for over fifty years. Please enjoy watching the clip below and seeing names and faces of Dow High greats over the years, and then consider making a donation to this worthy project. Every dollar counts!
The Dow High Music Boosters are holding a Fruit-LESS Fundraiser! While we hope to be able to sell fruit in 2021, this fundraiser will allow the Dow High band, choir, and orchestra programs to provide virtual concert videography, instruments, repairs, music, scholarships, accompanists, new orchestra folders, and more!
It’s not too late! Credit Card donations can still be made by clicking the Donate Here button at the bottom of this post.
There will be a special meeting of the Dow High Music Boosters at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 12th held via Zoom. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Boosters’ actions, if any, regarding promoting indoor band and choir classes.
A Zoom link will be sent out to the current Music Boosters distribution list by 5:40 pm Thursday.
If you would like to get added to the distribution list, or would like to confirm that you are on the list, please e-mail Doug Wright at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dow High Music Boosters is looking for local businesses or families interested in partnering with our organization as sponsors for the 2020-2021 school year.
Given the uncertain times and restrictions we are facing with gatherings, our three typical fundraisers, RenFair, Fruit Sale & Jazz and More may not be able to be held or look different than in the past. This makes our sponsors even more critical and valuable to fundraising efforts this year!
This year’s goal is to raise a combined $25,000 to help finance virtual concert videography, instrument purchases/repairs, music, new orchestra folders, choir uniform purchases/repairs, scholarships for private lessons and other operational expenses that fall outside the MPS budget.
Please click on the sponsorship form to see details of sponsorship levels. Sponsorships will be accepted at any time, but please consider pledging your support by Friday, November 20 to assist with our financial planning. By partnering with Dow High Music Boosters, you join a community that supports and genuinely impacts the outstanding music programs offered at DHS! Feel free to contact us at DHSMusicSponsors@gmail.com with any questions.
